McCabe Community Education Programs include The Whittier Fifth Dimension, Day on Campus, Power Hour Homework Help, the Wizard's Hour Reading Program, and a summer educational computer program held at the Whittier Boys & Girls Club. All are supported by a generous grant from the B. C. McCabe Foundation to Whittier College's Department of Education and Child Development. The programs are coordinated by a specially selected team of Whittier College undergraduates, The McCabe Scholars Team, who receive special college financial assistance through the grant in return for their program service.

Collectively, the McCabe Programs serve socially and economically marginalized young people in Whittier, California, USA and nearby communities. A total of 1,137 children and youth participated in the McCabe Community Education Programs from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007.
